Randy & Dolly's Hill Country Property

Mid February we made another trip to our property near Hunt for a 3 day work weekend.  We got a lot done on the property and cleared around the campers more.  We also enjoyed each evening at the fire pit with some good wine and friends under some FANTASTIC skies!!!
We moved tons of firewood near the campers and stacked it.  This is the view from our camper looking across the Taylor's.  We cleared underbrush, chipped it into mulch, and spread it around to make walk paths.
Our home away from home.
This area was thick with brush, dead trees, stumps, etc.  Now it looks like a manicured yard that you can easily walk through.  We cut  many of the stumps level and put flat rocks on them for sitting spots scattered through the area.  The birds are finding the bird feeders making the view quite nice...
More of the 'back yard'.
This is Dolly converting dead cedar into mulch for the walk ways.  The tractor makes it very easy and is a dream for pulling old stumps out.  It stayed quite busy hauling wood, mulching, and pushing new walk paths through the brush.
Bob is inspecting the remains of a pile of mulch that has already been hauled away.
Now it is break time...
This is how the mulch makes a muddy area into a nice walk way.  The campers are to the left and to the right is the cliff overlooking the creek with Oak, Sycamore, and Cherry Trees mixed in with the Cedar.
