Lazy Oaks Rest Stop & Trail Head

One of the trails came close to this interesting grove of Oak trees.  There must have been a storm when they were young as they are all twisted and laying down.  So we call this area "Lazy Oaks".
We spent a whole day in it cutting out the small cedar.  Another day was donated to chipping up the cedar into mulch.  We saved the cedar tree trunks to be used a trail edge liners.
We still have a lot of work to do here to make it what we want.
Now that the cedar is cleared under the Oak trees, the Oaks get more sunlight and water.  They should flourish.
This is the first of at least 5 trails that will come off of the area.
