The Iris Nebula |
| About this Object: | |
| This is the Iris Nebula in the constellation Cepheus. The extremely bright central star is illuminating the surrounding gasses and dust. Note the delicate pinchers above the central star. Can you imagine living on a planet around this star with the skies that it would have...??? This image is just the central portion of a much large nebula that I plan to image one day. | |
