The Sunflower Galaxy |
| About this Object: | |
| This is M 63 in Canes Venatici. It is a beautiful galaxy with a lot of structure in the arms. Note the many background galaxies including the edge on galaxy to the right of the center bright star. There is also more outer arm structure in the center on the right side. This galaxy could stand a lot more imaging time to bring out all of the faint details.
