Arp Galaxy |
| About this Object: | |
| This is a galaxy that I shot for Dennis Webb who is putting a book together on Arp Galaxies. This peticular galaxy is supposed to have 4 lateral jets coming off of it. 2 on top and 2 off the bottom. I managed to image the 2 on the bottom for him. They do not show up in this representation because it is not 'stretched' enough to see them. | |

| NGC-1097a is the smaller galaxy in the arm at the top. Seeing was below average and the galaxy was only 20 degrees above the horizon. | |
