Brewer's 2004 New Mexico Vacation

We started our journey with a weekend trip to Fort McKavett.  The JSCAS group get this great site twice a year.
Always great to see old friends there.

We were blessed with a fine rainbow Sunday morning.

Ok, now we are at our property in New Mexico.  The main road in is Milky Way.  We are 16 Galaxy Point.
We stayed at a local RV Park in Mayhill called Deer Springs RV.
My SkyTent makes leaving and using the scope on the top or our mountain a breeze.

There are always lots of critters to photograph

Here are some of the Aspens along the road by our property

We had a 3 inch snow on Wednesday night while we were eating in Cloudcroft at The Lodge.  We had to drive home in a thick driving snow.
We had to get up the next morning to take some pics.

This is some of the runs on the little ski area in Cloudcroft

Brrrr, it is cold

This is The Lodge that we were eating in when it began to snow.

Note the view of Alamogordo and White Sands from The Lodge

We went up to the Tower for some pictures

Me and mine...
This is very similar to the type of house that we are going to build when we move up there.
On the way back, we stopped and camped one night at Seminole Canyon State Park
We split our drive home by stopping at Leaky where some FBAC folks were having a 'Chicken Killer' Party
Ok, where does this go?
Then things really went to the birds
